Xermelo is a prescription medicine used as a treatment for persons with carcinoid syndrome diarrhea. It comes in tablet form and works by blocking the production of serotonin in the body. Carcinoid syndrome causes overproduction of serotonin which leads to symptoms of diarrhea or frequent bowel movements.

How to take Xermelo
