What is Fulphila?

Fulphila is used to prevent neutropenia caused by chemotherapy. Neutropenia is a condition where a person has low levels of neutrophils, which are a type of white blood cells. This medication is a form of protein that stimulates the growth of white blood cells that help your body fight against infections and supports immunity. The active ingredient in this FDA-approved medication is pegfilgrastim.

Fulphila is available in the form of a subcutaneous solution. It is given by injection under the skin, as directed by your doctor. It is usually given once during each chemotherapy cycle.
