Courtney Schmidt, Pharm.D., is a health writer and clinical pharmacist whose work has appeared on a variety of health and wellness sites, including Health.com, EverydayHealth.com, and KevinMD.com. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Courtney worked as a clinical pharmacist in a variety of inpatient healthcare settings, including pediatrics, adult medicine, and long-term care, garnering expertise in caring for people in all ages and stages of life.
